蔡襄尺牍

     此帖系蔡襄致友人的一通尺牍，内容谈到自己当时身体状况欠佳。因知是其至和三年（1056）初知福州所作，作者时年四十五岁。
钤有"知颐印记"、"颐"，安歧诸朱文印记。

<P>2－尺牍　册 纸　行楷书 24.7 x 27.1公分 台北故宫博物院藏</P>
<P>　　这幅蔡襄书写的尺牍，又名"澄心堂帖"。宋代士大夫讲究生活品味，对于文房用具，尤其考究。蔡襄写此一信札，便是为了委托他人代为制作、或是搜寻纸中名品－“澄心堂”纸。“澄心堂”纸源自五代南唐，据说它“肤如卵膜，坚洁如玉，细薄光润”，在北宋就已经是相当珍贵、难求的名纸了。这幅书迹的纸质缜密光洁，很可能就是蔡襄用来作为「澄心堂」纸的样本。 </P>
<P>　　精致的纸质，配上蔡襄秀致而庄重的墨迹，使得这幅“澄心堂”帖格外显得清丽动人。全文以行楷写成，结体端正略扁，字距行间宽紧合适，一笔一画都甚富体态，工致而雍容。信札署有“癸卯”（1063）年款，蔡襄时年五十二岁，正是他晚年崇尚端重书风的代表之作。 </P>
