汉鸟虫书印
在传统的汉私印中,可以看到一种富于装饰性的文字,其书体屈由盘绕,笔画多变化为鸟头或虫鱼龙等形态,这就是古代所谓鸟虫书在玺印中的运用。鸟虫篆文字大约产生和流行于春秋、战国及秦汉两朝。汉代许慎《说文解字》序中载:“秦书有八体,一曰大篆,二曰小篆,三曰刻符,四曰虫书,五曰摹印,六曰署书,七曰殳书,八曰隶书。”徐铉注:“虫节即鸟书,以书幅语,首象鸟形”。现在我们所能见到的春秋战国时期的王子匜、越王勾践剑、越王矛等青铜器铭文,书体笔画皆作鸟虫形,这应是鸟虫书的最早形态。鸟虫书文字是一种经过美化和艺术化了的文字,可以说是文字的美的创意,它所表现出来的那种鸟翔夔翱、繁复奇妙、生动华美的情调,将人们求美爱美的心态,发挥得淋漓尽致。</P><P> 汉代玺印是留存鸟虫文字的最大媒体,在方寸之间不仅蓄储了较多鸟虫篆字体,而且让我们领略到古代工匠们的精湛技艺。这些印中的文字线条极尽盘曲婉转错落之能事。那种富丽俏美、千姿百态的外形和极具腕畅、飞舞、流动之美,扑面而来,令入赏心悦目。</P>
