說明：絹本設色 北京故宮博物院藏 縱28.2厘米 橫429.5厘米
此畫設色畫江南雪景，筆法蒼勁渾厚，山石多用小斧劈皴和線條丟筆直皴，從而取得了方硬奇峭、水墨蒼潤的藝術效果。夏圭在畫樹干、樹葉時多用筆隨意點畫，筆法生動活潑，人物、樓閣已不像馬遠那樣工整細密，而是信手勾畫。全圖設色淡雅，構圖迂迥曲折，疏密遠近布置得當，為夏圭山水畫的代表之作。

<P> 《雪堂客话图》设色画江南雪景，笔法苍劲浑厚，山石多用小斧劈破和短线条秃笔直破，从而取得了方硬奇峭，水墨苍润的艺术效果。由此也可以看出夏圭虽与马达同师李唐，但又各有所长。马达用笔刚劲而偏于露，夏圭用笔刚劲而趋于含蓄，这一特点在此幅作品中表现得比较明显。画面左侧款署“臣夏圭”三字。</P>

[em07]谢上传，共品 <P><B>夏圭</B>，生卒年不详，字<B>禹玉</B>，中国<a href="http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%8D%97%E5%AE%8B" target="_blank" >南宋</A>画家，<a href="http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E4%B8%B4%E5%AE%89" target="_blank" >临安</A>（今<a href="http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E6%B5%99%E6%B1%9F" target="_blank" >浙江</A><a href="http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E6%9D%AD%E5%B7%9E" target="_blank" >杭州</A>）人。早年工<a href="http://zh.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%E4%BA%BA%E7%89%A9%E7%94%BB&action=edit" target="_blank" >人物画</A>，后以<a href="http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%B1%B1%E6%B0%B4%E7%94%BB" target="_blank" >山水画</A>著称。与<a href="http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E9%A9%AC%E8%BF%9C" target="_blank" >马远</A>合称“马夏”。</P><P>夏圭官至画院待诏，画法和马远也相近，画山石时用水墨皴染，创造拖泥带水皴，画树常用秃笔，笔简意足，清旷俏丽，善于提炼剪裁，景色含蓄动人，清幽深远，是北派山水代表人物之一。</P>溪山清远图（局部）

<P>夏圭，字禹玉，钱塘（杭州）人，宋宁宗时画院待诏。画风与马远极为相近，构图亦多空白，人称“马半边”，画史中多以“马、夏”并称。台北故宫博物院藏其《溪山清远图》卷，画面上巨石远山、丛林茂树、楼观村庄等都布置得疏密有致，笔法坚挺峭秀，将烟雨迷濛的江南景色，描绘得极其清幽秀丽。他的另一代表作品《山水十二景图》卷现只存四景，藏于美国纳尔逊博物馆，各自独立成章，但在布局上却连为一气，描写江天空阔的黄昏景色。夏圭的小幅作品，大都笔法简括，墨色苍润，诗意浓厚，故宫博物院藏的《遥岑烟蔼图》为其代表。另有藏于美国弗利尔博物馆的《洞庭秋月图》轴，也是夏圭精品。</P>
