阳陵虎符 秦代 中国历史博物馆藏
<P>　　虎符高三.一四厘米，长八.九厘米，相传山东省临城出土，现藏中国历史博物馆。“虎符”为古代帝王调动军队之信和物。授予地方官吏或者统兵将领以兵权，既以虎符的左半授予，待要调动军队时，即派使臣持虎符的右前往驻地。地方官吏或统兵将领两半虎符对合，验明无误，即应发兵。虎符盛行於战国、秦、汉。此件为秦代之物。虎颈至胯间左右各有错金篆书铭文两行十二字，书曰：“甲兵之符，右才（在）皇帝，左才（在）阳陵”。阳陵为秦之郡名，即今陕西高陵县。此件铜质，为秦始皇授予驻守阳陵将领之虎符。此件因年代已久，对合处生锈，现左右不能分开，整体形成一艺术品。伏虎卧地，昂首前视曲尾上翘。虎符字体谨严浑厚，风格端庄，笔法圆转，具有很高的艺术性。</P>
