<P> 郭熙，字淳夫，河南温县人。曾为宋御画院艺学。师法李成，善画山水，寒林。生卒年不祥，活动于北宋熙宁，元丰年间。著有《林泉高致》一书。
画幅左侧有款“窠石平远”四字及“元丰戊年郭熙画”。钤“郭熙印章”一方。知为郭熙作于元丰元年（公元1078年）。画深秋清旷之景，神韵独绝。树石画法与郭熙《早春图》相似。但细部描画较简略。有“敕赐临济壹宗之印”等印记十一方和半印一方。

郭熙，字淳夫，河南温县（河南孟县东）人。其子郭思，亦很有名，宋代画院，由于郭熙的出现，山水画又被重视起来。据说考试生员，要求皆以“郭体”为范。郭熙的传世作品很多，文献记载，不同画题的作品，就近1OO幅，有的表现大自然的气候特征，有的表现行旅的主题。
其《幽兰图》（现在上海博物馆），描写一片层岩叠嶂，几乎塞满了画面，近处的大岩石上有几株老树，一个清泉从下部岩缝里流出，远方的峰顶重叠。满是点叶的丛树。他的《早春图》着力描绘自然界中酝酿着的变化因素。那种生意盎然的新叶与浮动在山谷间的清晨雾气，一派清丽，完全扫去严冬的寒意，体现了大地复苏，生机郁勃的景象。苏轼曾有诗赞他：“玉堂昼俺春日闲，中有郭熙画春山；鸣鸠乳燕初睡起，白波青嶂非人间。”可见其艺术的诱感力。他的《集石平原图》，把石头画得像鬼脸，像云层；树枝向下弯曲，松叶像许多针攒集在一起。

<P align=left>郭熙（活动於西元十一世纪），河南温县人，神宗时为宫廷画师，早先曾经为京师几个重要的宫殿与寺庙绘制大型的屏风画或壁画，深受皇帝赏识，後来升迁为翰林图画院最高职位的「待诏」，制作了许多大型山水画。他擅长巨障长松，烟云变灭之景，山石用「卷云皴」，树木作「蟹爪」状，创为一派。
此图作於神宗熙宁五年（１０７２），是存世最着名之作。画上自题「早春」，顾名思义，画的是初春瑞雪消融，大地苏醒，草木发枝，一片欣欣向荣的景象。主要景物集中於中轴线上，近景大石与高大的松树，衔接中景「?」形的山石，隔着云雾，再起二峰，主峰居中，下临深渊，溪涧从谷间潺潺流下，深山中有宏伟的殿堂楼阁，悬崖上有草亭，背後衬以远山。左侧平坡委迤，遂觉有千里之遥。笔墨清润，构图综合高远、深远、平远法，呈现了可行，可望，可居，可游的理想山水。 </P>

</B>郭熙是北宋时期北方山水画的代表性画家．以擅于描写山水寒林著称。"幽谷图"画雪后山谷景色：两边崖壁陡立，峡谷幽深，几支老树崛生崖壁。全图笔墨无多，取局部景致而表达出高旷的意境，是作者以淡墨取胜的杰作。

<b>郭熙 幽谷图轴 宋代
</b>绢本。墨笔。所绘景物具有典型的中国西北山川风貌。图中山石轮廓方硬，全以淡墨渲染皴擦而成。近景枯枝寒树墨色焦浓，笔力刚健，十分简练；远处的林木则以淡墨点染，所费笔墨不多，但层叠错落之状，非常清楚，显出幽谷清寒的意境。

拍卖的那幅传为郭熙的雪景图轴上宋徽宗的题字及印章一望而知不对。 美极！ 好画!
