元 王振鹏
<P>王振鹏，字朋梅，永嘉（今浙江温州）人。官至漕运千户。工墨笔界画，笔法工致细密，自成一体。亦擅人物。元仁宗赏识他，赐号弧云处士。生座年不详，约活动于元仁宗朝。</P><P>

<P> 此卷描绘伯芽为知音者钟子期弹琴的故事。相传伯牙生于春秋时代，擅弹琴，与钟了期为友。《荀子·劝学篇》有“伯牙鼓琴，而六马仰秣”的记载。流传至今的古琴曲“水仙操”和“高山流水”据传就是他所作。图中弹琴者为伯牙，对面聆*者是钟子期。画中伯牙与子期的举止神情均刻划惟妙惟肖。衣纹用笔细劲流利，精谨生动。实为元代人物画代表作。</P>
<P> 卷末署“王振鹏”三字款。卷尾有元人冯子振、赵声、张原湜题记。
