元 曹知白

曹知白（公元1272-1355年），字又元，又字贞素，号云西。华亭（今松江）人。至元中为昆山教谕，不久辞官归隐。擅长画山水，师法李成、郭熙。晚年笔法简淡疏秀，自成一派。

<P>绢本 墨笔 纵27.3厘米 横26.2厘米  故宫博物院藏</P>
<P>    此图画坡石枯林。用笔丰腴湿润。画风学李成、郭熙而又有变化。画幅中自题：“……泰定乙丑九日，去西兄作。”下钤“云叟”、“听松斋”二印。下角又有“聊复尔耳”一印。乙丑为泰定二年，即公元1325年，时作者年五十四岁。本幅堪称曹知白中年时的佳作。
