龙藏寺碑（局部）
<P> 隋《龙藏寺碑》，楷书，无撰书人姓名，开皇六年（公元五八六年）刻，碑在河北省正定县。有人说它“整密瘦健，为隋碑第一”，有人说它是『爽整精能，为隋碑之极则。”隋建国只有三十七年，在书法艺术方面的成就，当然不及两汉，唐宋那样百花争妍，蔚然大观，但是，它在书法发展史上所占的地位和功绩，还是值得一书的。这正是今天珍视和研究《龙藏寺碑》的原因所在。康有为曾说：“隋碑渐失古意，体多闿爽，绝少虚和高穆之风，一线之延，惟有《龙藏》。”
《龙藏寺碑》用笔沉挚有力，刚柔相济，结体严谨安雅，方整有致，已是成熟的楷书形象。杨守敬说：“细玩此碑，正平冲和处似永兴（虞世南），婉丽遒媚处似河南（褚遂良），亦无信本（欧阳询）险峭之态。”可见初唐诸家大多从此萌芽。其中受其影响最大的应是褚遂良。褚的《雁塔圣教序》、《孟法师碑》等与
它似乎有着明显的渊源关系。因此，人们说《龙藏寺碑》是集北碑之众长，开初唐一代书风的“承前启后”的重要阶梯。
