<P> 此帖用墨淡而不浓，且是秃笔疾书，转折自如，无一笔不妥，无一笔凝滞，上下脉络映带清昕，结构稳重沉实，运笔从容，气韵流畅，体方而笔圆，妩媚而刚劲，为欧阳询晚年所书，清劲绝尘，诚属稀世之珍。
汇品：
元 郭天锡：率更初学王逸少书，后渐变其体，笔力险劲，为一时之绝，人得其尺牍，咸以为楷范。其《梦奠帖》劲险刻历，森森然若武库之戈戟，向背转折，浑得二王风气，世之欧行第一书也。（《书林藻鉴》卷八）
明 郁逢庆：唐银青光禄大夫太子率更令、渤海郡欧阳询，字信本，书《仲尼梦奠帖》七十八字，前后御府法书二小印，后有绍兴小印，合缝处古印甚多，下跋一吉字。未晓谁氏，庚寅十月购于扬中斋家悦生图书，亦曾入贾秋壑文府。率更初学王逸少书，后渐变其体，笔力险劲，为一时之绝，人得其尺牍，咸以为楷范。《书法苑》云：信本行书，蝉联起伏，凝结遒聳，裁萧水之柔懦，拉羲献之筋髓，比之诸势，出于自得。此本劲险刻历，森森然若武库之戈戟，向背转摺，浑得二王风气，世之欧行第一书也。（《书画题跋记》）
明 杨士奇：韦续《墨薮》欧阳正行书在中上品，欧教作有八诀，最利初学学者。观古人书，必观墨迹，乃见妙处。比《梦奠帖》七十八字，真人间绝无仅有希世宝也，盖尝入宋御府矣。赵文敏公所题考碑誌是三十七、八岁笔，故与后来特异。
