黄氏的这些画稿，可以说是信手肆无忌惮地在纸上任意涂抹，笔下已全无自然山水可言，有的是近乎抽象的点线了。因而论者谓其有“纵横习气”。这时的他，画黄山或是画桂林还是画西湖，已无甚差别，面目雷同，近乎程式化。惟其能不断于相同的图式上反复地积淀，从而达致升华，故终成一代大师。当然，诗无达诂，见仁见智，这仅是一家之言。

不知何故，现在各论坛上只要见到有学黄老的，也不管学的水平如何，马上就能招来一片叫好声……我实在理解不了，有的人，按其笔路和性格，学黄老实在难有作为啊！

喜欢黄老的作品好象是现在国画届的一致偏好,比先前黄老将作品捐献给故宫博物院时工作人员不收真是天壤之别了,我同意   清音无际的说法,一切皆有由来,也不要过于迷信.毕竟黄老也是人!当然,黄老是中国画开时代的一代大家的事实是应该充分肯定的![em06]
