邓散木篆刻
邓散木（1898--1963）</P>初名菊初,号钝铁,三十后自号粪翁,四十后始称散木,1960年因动脉硬化，截去左腿，因自署一足、夔，斋馆名有厕简楼，自榜“三长两短斋”(即长书、印、诗,短画、词)。上海人,晚年居北京。篆刻投门于赵古泥,得赵氏真传,但有突破创新之举。散木除师法其师外,不断从封泥、古陶、砖瓦文中汲取养料,五十岁前后挣脱师门,自创新路,逐渐形成了雄奇茂密、疏密有致、严谨多变的邓氏篆刻风貌。然而在结字和章法上的过于巧饰和迂回是他晚年的弱点。其边款艺术尤为精采,他的楷书款,从历代切刀法而来,结构匀称、稳健,结字规范,尤适于初学者临摹和取法。除楷书边款外,他还长于草、隶、篆书诸体,是一位印、款俱精的印学家,1931年至1949年之间，曾在江南一代连开十二次展览，艺坛瞩目，有书坛的“江南祭酒”之称。当时曾有“北齐(白石)南邓(散木)”之誉。</P>

名家印谱—邓散木

邓散木（1898---1963），出生上海，号粪翁，别号钝铁。1960年因动脉硬化，截去左腿，因自署一足、夔，斋馆名有厕简楼，三长两短斋（三长者，篆刻、作诗、书法；两短者，绘画、填词，这是散木先生对自已艺术的评价）。实际上，他长于诗文、书刻，也能作画。精于四体书，行草书集二王、张旭、怀素之长，旁参明末清初王觉斯、黄道周两家。隶书曾遍临汉碑。篆书初学《峄山碑》，继杂以钟鼎款识，上溯殷商甲骨文。篆刻初学浙派，后师秦汉玺印。早年得李肃之先生发蒙，壮年又得赵古泥、萧蜕庵两位先生亲授，艺事大进，又从封泥、古陶文、砖文中吸取营养，形成了自已章法多变，雄奇朴茂的风格。1931年至1949年之间，曾在江南一代连开十二次展览，艺坛瞩目，有书坛的“江南祭酒”之称。</P>

<P> “跋扈将军”（见上图图1）一印，三面都有字逼边，而独疏其下部，然又在 “跋”字下部，“扈”字右上角，“军”字右上角，都留有小块红地与之呼应。文字之间顾盼有情，或接或离，忽粗忽细，充分体现了文字盘错离合的变化之美。</P>
<P> “当惊世界殊”（见上图图2）一印，文字笔画悬殊，如按照一般排法，较难完美。散木曾评其师赵古泥治印章法云:“一印入手，必先篆样别纸，务求精当，少有未安，辄置案头反复布置，不惜积时累日数易楮叶，必使安详豫逸方为奏刀，故其所作，平正者无一不揖让雍容，运巧者无一不神奇变幻。”对于这种严谨的创作态度，邓散木是十分钦佩而身体力行的。在这方印中，他将笔画最少的“世界”二字组合占一字地位，又将“惊”字之结体作错落安排，全印因入佳境。而全然有别于那种横如梯架，竖如栅栏的平齐的呆板排列，给人以不平中求平、不齐中求齐的美感。</P>
<P> “风灯吹阴雪，云门吼瀑泉”（见上图图3）是一方朱文多字印，他曾经说过：“多字印必须求其字体笔画量为错综，令逐字成章，合章成印。”此印四周稠密而中心疏朗，由于四周的各字都留以零星空白，而中心之“云”字以盘曲的线条斜置处理，使全印密而不塞疏而不空。而方折线条构筑成的四边文字，又与中心“云”字的圆转线条，形成一种方圆相衬映的美。此外“吹、吼、瀑”三字中同时又有变化的圆形部件与”云“相呼应。看到此印，读者如步入大庭广众之中，但见男女老少，人头攒动，围成一圈，献艺的少女正掀长绸而飘然起舞。全印方圆相杂，动静结合，又兼得团聚与灵动之美。</P>
<P> “瑷庐主人书印”（见上图图7）一印雄浑刚健，两边四字犹如两座铁塔，“主人”两字笔画较少，占地也少，结体活泼自如，宛如参天古木之下，两个嬉戏的孩子，在静穆之中展现一种生动的变化。</P>
<P> “东莱后裔”（见上图图8）一印，左方右圆，左密右疏，全印四字以方整为基调，莱后、裔三字中，又均有部分以斜线条出之，以平中求不平，匀称中求不匀称，线条的粗细变化，也给全印增添了生气。“后来新妇”（见上图图6）一印也有相同的意境，其朱白的配置，体现了作者“计白当朱，计朱当白”的艺术实践。 </P>
<P>“贺扬灵印”（见上图图9）、“任政之玺”（见上图图10）、“江寒汀印”（见上图图6）是作者常见的白文印格式。“贺扬灵印”上细下粗，“灵”字占地超过一半，“印”字笔画特粗，使全印变化中不失稳重感。“贺”字之“力”一撇下垂，“杨”字“手”旁上头右伸，“灵”字三个“口”只用两个，显示了作者章法变化的娴熟技巧。“任政之玺”也是密下疏上，边框的粗细变化极大，右、上两边的边线特细，且不呈水平状，左、下两条边线特粗，边线对角的强烈的对比，使章法更奇，耐人寻味，在不经意中，作者的功力就表现出来了。“江寒汀印”使刀如笔，纵横得宜，“印”字转折处十分轻灵，“寒”字的斜顶及中间一斜笔，由于下部夸张的两横，给此字增添了稳重感，中间的四个同样的笔划，有装饰效果。“江、汀”二字仅一横之差，对称中有变化，“江”字下部一横，有意到笔不到之趣。全印粗细结合，圆中有骨，在平整中见逸趣。</P>
<P> “丙戌生人”（见上图图11）朱文印，得封泥遗意，每个字都有笔画与边框相粘连，用笔轻重变化，刀法痛快畅达，虽然四字笔画都不多，但不失厚重沉稳之意。边框粗细的变化，与印文浑然一体，没有深厚的艺术功力，决难处理得如此得心应手。
