罗福颐篆刻

罗福颐（1905--1981）</P>    字子期，又署紫溪、梓溪，七十后自号偻翁，浙江上虞人。为近代著名金石学家罗振玉之第五子，自幼秉承家学，由父兄为他教授四书五经，并无其它学历。课余写字刻印，阅读家藏古印谱，手拓青铜器铭文，并开始摹集玺印文字。与他父亲的学生容庚 、商承 柞 是青年时代的学友，十八岁时即出版《 古玺汉印文字徵 》 。为不使学识“黄土埋幽，与生俱尽”，他努力笔耕，著术多达一百二十三种。文革中下放至湖北干校备受迫害。十年浩劫后，克服年迈力衰，三年中足迹遍涉大江南北十五个省、市，访问了二十七个博物馆及文化机构，采集古玺印资历料近万件。

罗福颐先生为印喜拟汉铸白文印，浑厚端严，无异汉制；拟玺多作朱文小玺，秀挺自然，得其意趣。
