说明：
爽劲、浑朴、不雕、斩钉截铁、气势夺人等等，这些句子用在齐白石这副篆书联上都是合适的。甚至我们还觉得形容词是如此地苍白和无聊，艺术的妙处，有时是语言无法表达的。尽管如此，我们还是不得不说，表达、交流毕竟是人们进行沟通的最好办法之一。
质朴无华，大巧著拙是齐白石艺术中一个显著的特点，他曾自叙学印学书过程道：“……得《二金蝶堂印谱》，方知老实为正，疏密自然，得一变。再后喜《天发神谶碑》，刀法一变。再后喜《三公山碑》，篆法一变。最后喜《秦权》，纵横平直，一任自然，又一大变”。从上述古代作品中，我们基本已知齐白石的艺术取向了。
齐白石（1863——1957）原名璜，字萍生，号寄萍、老萍、借山翁、杏子坞老民、齐大、木居士、三百石印富翁等。湖南湘潭人。齐白石被誉为诗、书、画、印四绝，是近代公认的艺术大师之一。

这是齐白石八十岁行书信札，一反大幅作品的强雄恣肆，这份手札风格儒雅，韵味无穷，纯粹是帖学一派的路子。笔走中锋，点画挺劲圆健，变化多端。字与字之间细发游丝般的连属，一如老人画中虾须，颇显笔墨功力。
