[size=6] 中国最美的乡村－－婺源，是镶嵌在黄山－－景德镇－－庐山国际旅游黄金线上的一颗绿色生态与古文化明珠。她东连浙江衢州、南通上饶、西接景德镇、北临黄山，古为文风鼎盛之所，今为交通皖、浙、赣三省要地。全县面积2947平方公里，总人口33万人。境内山多地少，素有“八分半山一分田，半分水路与庄园”之称。这里属中亚热带湿润气候，年均气温为16.7度，年降水量为1821毫米。婺源古属吴中楚尾，正式建制于唐开元28年（公元740年）。有着深厚文化底蕴的婺源，自古以来，被誉为“江南曲阜”和“书乡”。由宋而下，文风愈显强劲，有仕宦2665人，著作3100多部，选入《四库全书》172部。一方水土养一方人，百代文气造传世名流，文学家朱弁，哲学家、教育家、理学大师朱熹，明篆刻家何震，清经学家江永，科学家齐彦槐，铁路之父詹天佑，现代医学家程门雪，都从这里走向全国，走向世界。此外，婺源的民间艺术也十分富有，典雅的徽剧是京剧的源流之一，古朴的傩舞被称为“古典舞蹈活化石”，甲路抬阁艺术享有“中华一绝”的美名，独具韵致的茶艺表演风姿迷人......婺源博物馆，馆藏之多，品位之高，国内罕见，有“中国县级第一馆”之称。婺源生态旅游资源十分丰富。全县有林地面积376万亩，森林覆盖率达82%，是全国十六个生态农业先进县之一。境内处处为景，犹如一个大公园，有人说她是“中国最美的乡村”，也有人说她是“最后的香格里拉”。神奇的大鄣山（卧龙谷）、如天上人间般的“江岭风光”、文公山、鸳鸯湖、灵岩洞国家森林公园堪称“生态奇观”，江湾、李坑、汪口、思溪、理坑、等许多保存良好的古村落，与青山绿水与粉墙黛瓦、飞檐戗角构成一幅幅恬静自如、天人合一的画卷。在婺源，春可赏五色芳菲，夏可探清幽奇洞，秋可观漫山红叶，冬可访平湖鸳鸯。
婺源的物产中外驰名。“四色”（红、绿、白、黑）是与“四古”（古村、古洞、古建筑、古文化）一样有着悠久历史和独特文化内涵的地方特色产品，红是“水中瑰宝”－－荷包红鲤鱼，它肉嫩味美，具有食用、药用和观赏价值，被选入国宴；绿是婺源绿茶，它以“汤碧、香高、汁浓、味醇”等特色扬名天下，黑是“砚国名珠”龙尾砚，其“声如铜，色如铁，性坚滑，善凝墨”的特征广为世人所知；白是江湾雪梨，体大肉厚，松脆香甜，当属果中上品。此外还有甲路工艺伞、竹编、刺绣、木雕、根雕等民间工艺品，清华婺酒、赋春酒糟鱼、香菇、笋干、干蕨等特色山珍食品，均为馈赠亲友的上等佳品。
婺源的交通也较为便利。营运班车已直达上海、杭州、深圳、广东、温州、宁波、金华、常熟、南昌、九江、黄山等地，有旅游车队一家，从县城大型停车场到达各景点，每20－30分钟就有一辆公交车，交通十分便利。通讯上实现手机乡乡通，各景区均有电话。
婺源现有三星级宾馆一家，准三星宾馆二家，二星级宾馆五家，旅游定点宾馆十八家，还有许多经济实惠的小宾馆和住宿楼，目前县城已达床位5000多个，各旅游景区也有980个床位。婺源旅游定点购物场所四家，这些购物场所，地方特色浓厚，种类繁多，品种齐全，任君选购。具有婺源风情的休闲娱乐场所8家，旅游服务机构－－旅行社10家，婺源文化与生态旅游区，2002年获评为国家3A级旅游区，2003年能过ISO9000质量体系论证、ISO14001环境体系认证，婺源的旅游业将迅速走向成熟。[/size]
