刘继卣

<B></B>   刘继卣（1918—1983）是刘奎龄的公子。1936年入天津市立美术馆，从刘子久习山水，从刘风虎学素描、水彩。1937年开始，以卖画为生。1947年曾在天津举办个人画展。1950年入人民美术出版社任创作员，先后创作了一批享誉画坛的连环画，如《鸡毛信》、《东郭先生》、《生死缘》等。1956年组画《武松打虎》获第6届世界青年联欢节美术作品竞选铜牌奖，1957年组画《闹天宫》入选社会主义国家造型艺术展览。1963年和1979年曾两次应邮电部之邀设计了《金丝猴》、《东北虎》，并被评为最佳邮票。他的画风精细，笔润流畅，色彩丰富，构图别致。

   目前市场上刘继卣的作品价格不如刘奎龄。1996年，刘奎龄的《动物》4屏条在苏富比拍卖会以98万港元的高价成交，创刘奎龄作品的最高纪录，现刘奎龄的精品动辄在数十万元。相反刘继卣的每幅作品大多万元左右。刘继卣的作品后市有潜力。
