费新我
费新我（1903——1992），原名省吾，字立千，号立斋，浙江湖州人。出身平民，少小时勤奋好学，喜爱图画。无师而先习西画，后从事图画范本，应用美术、劳美教材及简易美术技法等书编绘工作。32岁辞去商店账房一职，自立画室，专事研习中、西画、书法与拳术。35岁因避日寇进侵之乱，举家迁居苏州。先与人合作开设书铺，后又组织“微明画社”与东斋（今大公园内），授教太极拳与西洋画。建国后，他于五十年代初注重国画创作，在市文联组织下，去吴县金山体验生活，从而打下了作人物画的基础，得写生稿60余幅。归后，与张晋、余彤甫、顾仲华等举办联合画展。展品有《采石工人》、《在金山工地上》、《收工》等。最能代表费新我水平的《刺绣图》和《草原枚民图》，刻划人物形象真实生动，线条明快流畅。曾选送在苏联展出，名噪一时。其时也作书法，以楷、行、隶书为多见，规正老实，一丝不苟，但少特色。1957年9月调任江苏省国画院为专职画师。两年后即56岁时，突患结核腕关节炎，致使右手病残不能继续作书画。但新我并非因此而终止艺术生涯政协委员改左手执笔以书法。从晋唐入手，上溯汉魏，帖碑互练，忘寝废食。初时幼拙，但不耻不问，并以“岁月如流，不断新我”自勉。凡三十余年孜孜不倦。在书风上从早期追求的“顺、熟、巧、正”一改为“逆、生、拙、奇”。达到了“巧拙互用，拙茂巧稳，逆中有顺，似奇反正”的艺术效果。尤其到了晚年，作书更具节奏感，抑扬顿挫，干湿自然，运笔快而不滑，迟而不滞，书虽止而势犹未尽。喜取逆势，若逆水行舟，奇拙互生，具有下笔随意，章法美观，挺拔雄健，凝炼遒劲的特点，形成了独特的个人书艺风格。1982年赴日本举办个人书展并获成功，名声大振。1984年应邀去美国观摩西方艺术并与华裔美术书法界人进行艺术交流。1988年以耄耋之年在苏州艺石斋举办个人书法展。1991年又应新加坡书协之邀，在中华总商会举行“费新我八八书展”并举办书法讲座，对其书作的成就尤其革新精神评价甚高。他的作品广为国内外博物馆、美术馆、纪念馆所收藏，并大量刻碑以长期陈列。先后出版书画册有《楷书初阶》、《怎样画铅笔画》、《怎样画图案》、《毛主席诗词行书字贴》、《鲁迅诗歌行书贴》、《费新我书法集》等。他是中国美术家协会会员、中国书法协会理事、书协江苏分会顾问、江苏省国画院一级美术师，以及苏州市武术协会名誉主席、湖州书画院名誉院长等。

著录与展览 费新我(1903－1992)学名斯恩，初字省吾，30岁前改用新我，笔名立千，号立斋，浙江湖州人。1934年起在上海白鹅画校及白鹅画会学习西洋画。1939年始任上海万叶书店特约编辑。1945年始为广告设计，兼作漫画。1952年复进万叶书店任美术编辑，1953年退出，从事彩墨画创作。其间入江苏省国画院，曾作五丈长卷《草原图》。1958年作《刺绣图卷》参加莫斯科社会主义国家造型艺朮展，同年病右腕，遂以左手运笔，专攻书法。1962年先后在苏州、常州、湖州举办个人书画展，1982年应邀赴日分别在东京、大阪举办个人书展，1984年至1988年在郑州、南京、北京、上海、杭州、苏州举办个人书作巡回展。曾任江苏省国画院一级画师，中国书法家协会理事，书协江苏分会顾问。1987年获河南首届书法龙门大师奖 。出版有《楷书初阶》、《毛泽东诗词行书字帖》、《鲁迅诗歌》、《怎样学书法》等。 此即出版《毛泽东诗词行书字帖》的底稿。
